We missed this year’s SCCA sanctioned Duryea Hillclimb, held last weekend in Reading, PA, but caught part of the earlier and shorter Pagoda Hill Climb in June. (Carl Oswald and his 1990 Mazda Miata, #481, pictured above, raced in that one.) Check out the full results from the Pagoda race.

Racers from all over the region gather for these two races - favorites among the hill climb community. Last year we talked a few area racers, including Skip Levengood and others.

Things have been a bit slow here at the Berks.TV office this summer, but for a very good reason.

On June 28, 2007, we welcomed our first child into the family.

Say hello to our son, Charlie!

Charlie is a very special baby with a unique story, one we hope to soon tell here on Berks.TV. We, of course, plan to post a video segment all about it.

So we apologize if you’ve been looking for more posts from us and haven’t found them–we plan to return to a more regular posting schedule once we figure out what Charlie has planned for his schedule!

The rain cleared in time for the Wyomissing Fire Company to celebrate its 100th anniversary, at the annual Fourth of July Parade. Happy Anniversary, and Happy Fourth, everyone!
